Laughter Workshop

Wednesday Evening 7.00-7.30 (before Playback Theatre at 8.00pm)
Function Centre
conducted by Rada Millwood

Laugh for life

Our true potential for using laughter in life and in work lies dormant. Laughing activates a biological mechanism which facilities emotional balance and well-being. These are the primary conditions for clear thinking and purposeful action. Laughter clears the air, hurdles obstacles, ridicules roadblocks and unplugs creativity. If we can laugh, we can be more effective in ourselves, our life and our work.

This session will open the door to this under-developed potential. The format of the session is: Aerobic warm ups; structured laughter sequences; closing sequences and a brief Q & A.

Participants:

  • will have fun and feel energized;
  • learn laughter exercises;
  • and experience the cumulative effects of laughter.

Playback Theatre

Wednesday Evening 8.00pm

playback theatre

Playback Theatre Sydney have delighted Australian audiences for 25 years. Pioneered by Jonathan Fox in New York in 1975, Playback exists now in more than 40 countries – and Sydney’s show is the longest running in the Southern Hemisphere. In theatre performances, workshops and corporate shows, Playback is truly unique. An artform that requires intensive listening skills, group work, trust and dedication, its highly-trained actors draw on music, dance, physical theatre, mime, improv and Greek chorus skills. What they create is a thrill that exists in the moment...but whose magic will be with you long after the lights come up!
