This workshop aims to bring together researchers and practitioners who are working in the early stages of the Web Development process – i.e. those activities where Web systems are scoped, specified, and where impacts on, and effective integration with, existing organizational processes are considered. The workshop will explore how improvements in techniques, models, and tools can lead to better scoping and specification of Web systems and integration of these systems within organizational processes.

Full papers describing original, previously unpublished research work, experimental efforts, practical experiences, and industrial and commercial developments are invited. Specific topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

* Web application requirements

* Web project scoping

* Alignment of Web systems and business processes/workflows

* Co-evolution of business processes and Web systems

* Requirements models

* Specifying workflows

* Domain-specific requirements

 

REVIEWING PROCESS:

Papers are submitted to the AWSOR07 workshop as full refereed papers.

All the full refereed papers at the AWSOR07 workshop go through a peer review process that:

• is a blind review process.
• involves an international review panel who are appropriately independent and qualified.
• receives at least two reviews for each paper.
• assesses the full text of the publication in its entitrety before acceptance and publication.

In the case of a deadlock, papers are sent to a third referee. The workshop Chair is responsible for ensuring that the reviewers comments are appropriately addressed.

 

PAPER SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:

Papers should adhere to the instructions for submission to ICWE2007. Papers should not exceed 10 pages, and should be submitted online via the easychair website. If you do not have an easychair account you will need to create one when you reach the site before submitting a paper.
