Workshop Format

The workshop will be organized around active critiquing of research work, and contains a keynote, three core papers, and a structured discussion forum. The papers will be arranged so that the authors only present a brief overview of the work, and then must engage in a dialogue with an allocated discussant or provocateur, who has been asked to trigger discussion on the paper - particularly in terms of how the approach can lead to improvements in current development practices. The structured discussion forum will be an open debate with the stated objective of identifying the key open research questions within the field which need to be answered in order for this area to progress.

The workshop will have the following overall format:

3:00pm-3:30pm: Paper 1: Web Based Requirements Management Approach for Organizational Situation Awareness, Vikram Sorathia, Anutosh Maitra

3:30pm-4:00pm: Paper 2: Conceptual Modelling of Service-OrientedSystems, Mario A. Bochicchio, Vincenzo D'Andrea, Natallia Kokash, and Federica Longo

4:00pm-4:30pm: Coffee break

4:30pm-5:00pm: Paper Presentation 3: Aligning Web System and Organisational Models, Andrew Bucknell, David Lowe and Didar Zowghi

5:00pm-6:00pm: Discussion: Key open questions in Aligning Web Systems with Organisational Requirements

6:00pm-6:30pm: Wrap-up and close
